Tigers Open 2021 Calhoun Invitational; Hixson Leads Tiger Scoring

DECATUR, Ala. -- The Andrew College men's golf team opened the 2021 Calhoun Men's Spring Golf Invitational at the Burningtree Country Club in Decatur, AL with a 337-334=661(+85), and Connor Hixson posted a 77-75=152(+8) to lead the Tigers scoring in the individual competition.

Hixson's effort placed him in a T11th, Emil Wallinder fired an 81-76=157(+13) to finish T23rd, Jakob Modig carded a 79-80=159(+15), good for a T30th, and Trip Carter shot 100-93=193 to round out the Tiger scoring.

Andrew tees off tomorrow for the final 18 holes at 8:00 am.
