Tigers Wrap Up 2020 Bobcat Classic; Hixson Finishes 8th

GREENSBORO, Ga. -- The Andrew College men's golf team wrapped up the final round at the 2020 Bobcat Classic, shooting 324-330=654(+78). Sophomore Connor Hixson fired rounds of 77-78=156(+11) to finish in a T8th place to lead the Tigers' individual effort. The tournament was hosted by Georgia Military College and held at the Harbor Golf Club in Greensboro, Ga. The course was 6,941 yds. and played to a Par 72.

Jakob Modig climbed three spots on the leaderboard, carding an 82-81=163(+19) and finishing in a T15th, Bryce Barfield signed for an 80-86=166(+13) and finished in a T21st, and Emil Wallinder rounded out the Tiger scoring, shooting 84-86=170(+26) to finish 26th.

The Bobcat Classic is the only tournament scheduled for the Fall season due to the Covid pandemic.
