Tigers Open Spring Season at Titan Invitational; Barfield is Top Scorer

MELBOURNE, Fla. -- The Andrew College men's golf team opened their spring season with their annual trip to the 2020 Titan Winter Invitational, hosted by Eastern Florida State and held at the Suntree Country Club in Melbourne, FL, firing rounds of 346-341-341=1028(+164). Bryce Barfield led the Tiger scoring for the first time this year, posting rounds of 77-81-77=235(+19) to finish in a T47th, out of 80 individuals competing.

Connor Hixson shot 77-84-77=238(+22) to finish T57th, Noah Peterson carded a 90-78-90=258(+42), and Trip Carter signed for a 102-98-97=297(+81) to round out the Tiger scoring.

The Tigers return to tournament action on February 17-18 at the Coastal Alabama Men's Golf Invitational, being played at the Rock Creek Golf Club, in Fairhope, AL, with 18 holes on Monday and Tuesday.
