Tigers Open at MGCCC Fall Invitational; Hixson Leads Tigers With A 79

SAUCIER, Miss. -- The Andrew College men's golf team teed off in the 18th Annual Mississippi Gulf Coast Coummunity College (MGCCC) Fall Invitational on Monday at the Windance Country Club, and Connor Hixson again led the Tigers, firing a 79(+7) on the 6,839 yd Par 72 course, to settle into a T53rd finish.  Bryce Barfield added an 83(+11) to share a T70th, and Noah Peterson carded an 87 (+15). Former baseball player Trip Carter made his collegiate debut, carding a +33 to round out the Tigers scoring.

The Tigers finish with 18 holes on Tuesday.

The golf team is back in action on November 3-4 at the 2019 CACC Invitational, hosted by Central Alabama CC at the Preserve Country Club in Ocean Springs, MS
