Connor Hixson Leads Tigers at the Dan York Memorial Tournament

JASPER, Ala. -- Freshman Connor Hixson shot 74-74=148(+6) to lead the Andrew College men's golf team in their first tournament of the fall season, the Dan York Memorial Tournament. The Memorial Tournament is being hosted by Wallace State CC and is being played at the Musgrove Country Club in Jasper, AL, a 6,516 yd, Par 71 course. 

Hixson score was the lowest among the individual participants in the tournament and is T27 in the field of 70 participants. Bryce Barfield turned in an 80-85=165(+23), and Noah Peterson signed for an 82-84=166(+24), to round out the Andrew scorers.

The Tigers will play 18 holes tomorrow to close out the tournament.
