Konradsson Named to Prestigious 2018-19 Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-American Scholar Team

NORMAN, Okla. -- Andrew College golfer Rasmus Konradsson was one of just eighteen National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) golfers to be named a Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-American Scholar for the 2018-19 school year, as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). Established in 1958, the GCAA is the professional organization of golf coaches. The GCAA's mission is to support its member coaches by creating educational opportunities, providing resources, and promoting its members with the purpose of enhancing their overall performance as coaches, mentors, and teachers. The GCAA also recognizes the excellence and achievements of its members and their student-athletes in academic, athletic and civic endeavors.

To be eligible for Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar status, an individual must be a junior or senior academically in Division I, II, III, and NAIA, or receiving their Associate's Degree and in their last year of athletic eligibility in the NJCAA. In addition, they participate in 50-percent of his team's competitive rounds, have a stroke-average under 76.0 in Division I, 78.0 in Division II, 78.0 in NAIA and 79.0 in Division III, 77.0 in NJCAA, and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at his college or university.

Konradsson was the Tigers #1 golfer for Head Coach Aaron Feyes since arriving in Cuthbert from Njurunda, Sweden in 2017. A superb talent and student, Konradsson capped off his Andrew College career by competing in the 2019 NJCAA Div. I Men's Golf National Championship as an individual. Konradsson, a 2018 NJCAA Div. II PING All-Region selection, was Andrew's leading scorer fourteen times in sixteen tournaments over his two-year career. He has signed with NCAA Div. I's Old Dominion University.
