Konradsson Signs With NCAA Division I Old Dominion University

CUTHBERT, Ga. -- Andrew College Head Men's Golf Coach Aaron Feyes announced today that Rasmus Konradsson has committed to play next year at Old Dominion University (ODU).  ODU is a public university that started as a branch of the College of William and Mary in 1930, is located in Norfolk, VA, has an enrollment of 25,000 students, and competes in the NCAA Division I, as a member of Conference USA. The Monarchs boast a roster of several international players and are led by Head Coach Murray Rudisill, who has spent the last 40 years at the helm of the program.

Konradsson, a sophomore from Njurunda, Sweden, established himself as the Tigers #1 shortly after arriving in Cuthbert, and has since been the leading scorer in 12 of the 14 tournaments the team has played over his two year career.  A  2017 NJCAA Div. II PING All-Region selection, he had a pair of All-Tournament selections in this years' fall season, at the Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College Fall Invitational where he finished 3rd, and the NJCAA Div. I Preview, where he finished 4th.  As a freshman, he sat atop the leader board at the 17th Annual Ron Marshall Spring Fling after two rounds, and finished 6th. He is currently ranked as the 52nd player in the latest NJCAA ranking on the website,  Golfstat. HERE

Feyes, who has sent over 25 players to four year schools in his 11 years at Andrew, commented on Konradsson, his first NCAA Division I signee, saying , "Rasmus has continued to progress since he got to Andrew. We're looking for big things from him for the rest of the season."
