Andrew Men's Golf Opens Spring Season; Konradsson Fires a 69 in 3rd Round

MELBOURNE, Fla. -- The Andrew College men's golf team kicked off their 2019 spring season at Titan Winter Invitational, hosted by tournament winner Eastern Fla. State, at the Suntree Country Club, a 6,953 yd, Par 72 course in Melbourne, FL. Sophomore Rasmus Konradsson again paced the Tiger scoring, firing 76-81-69=226(+10) to finish T27th out of 72 players. The 69(-3) was the low round of the day, and one of just seven rounds in the 60's out of the 211 rounds played in total. Konradsson, a 2017 NJCAA Div. II PING All-Region selection, was Andrew's leading scorer for the twelfth time in thirteen tournaments over his two-year career. The Tigers shot 328-325-312=965 as a team.

Grant Richardson carded an 81-78-79=238(+22), Jacob Brantefelt signed for an 85-79-86=250(+34), and Logan Bracey rounded out the Tiger scoring with an 86-87-78=251(+35).

The Tigers take a weekend off, then travel to Fairhope, AL to play in the Coastal Alabama Men's Golf Invitational in a rare Saturday/Sunday tournament, playing 18 holes on Saturday and Sunday.
