Konradsson Shoots 70; Climbs 7 Spots; Tigers Up One, Finish 10th at Glen Lake Invitational

FOLEY, Ala. -- With much better scoring conditions today in the 2018 Glen Lakes Invitational, the Tigers shot 70-80-81-81=312(+24), and moved up one spot to finish 10th. The Tigers shot 320-322-312=954(+90) in the team competition. Rasmus Konradsson blistered the 6,912 yd Par 72 GlenLakes Golf Course with a 70(-2) to climb seven spots on the individual competition leaderboard, good for sole posession of 13th place. Konradsson's round of 70 was one of just seven players to break par, out of 78 individuals competing, and was the second lowest round of the day, behind a pair of 68's. 

Konradsson's three day total of 74-78-70=222(+6) led the Tigers for the sixth time in seven tournaments this year. Jacob Brantefelt shot 79-80-84=243(+27) to finish T51st, Anthony Whobrey carded an 83-80-81=244(+28), finishing T53rd, Tyler Erwin signed for an 83-79-84=246(+30), good for T58th, Logan Bracey went for an 80-86-81=247(+31), and Grant Richardson fired an 87-85-80=252(+36) to round out the Tiger scoring.

The regular season portion of the schedule is now complete. The Tigers will tee off next in the NJCAA Region XVII and District J Golf Tournament, being held on April 23-24, at the Innsbrook Golf and Resort in Helen, GA.
