Konradsson Finishes 6th; Tigers 10th at Ron Marshall Spring Fling

SCOTTSBORO, Ala. -- Rasmus Konradsson flirted with his first All-Tournament honor this year, before falling just one stroke short of the top five at the 17th Annual Ron Marshall Spring Fling, being held at the Goose Pond Colony Golf Course, over the previous three days. Konradsson has been the Tigers leading scorer in five of the Tigers six tournaments on the year, and has continued to improve his finishes in each tournament. His T6th beat his previous low score of T13th at the Trojan Invitational. Head Coach Aaron Feyes had this to say about Konradsson, "Rasmus continues to adjust and improve his game, and the results are showing. Starting on top of the leaderboard for the final round is a new experience for him, and he'll learn from this. I think the rain delay and nerves probably played a part, but overall, I'm really pleased with his game."

The Tigers shot 75-79-79-80=313(+25) on Saturday, to complete a tournament showing of 314-304-313=931(+67), finishing in tenth place out of the sixteen teams competiting.

Konradsson paced the Tigers with 74-70-75=219(+3), again, earning a T6th. Tyler Erwin finished T44th, with rounds of 74-80-79=233(+17), Logan Bracey signed for an 82-75-81=238(+22), good for 58th place, Jacob Brantefelt added an 85-79-79=243(+27), and Anthony Whobrey shot 84-91-80=255(+39) to round out the Tiger scoring.

The Tigers return to the links on March 26-27, playing in the Glen Lakes Invitational, held in Foley, AL at the Glen Lakes Golf Course.
