Konradsson Shoots 70; Vaults to Top of the Leaderboard

SCOTTSBORO, Ala. -- Andrew College freshman Rasmus Konradsson fired a 70(-2) today at the 17th Annual Ron Marshall Spring Fling, to climb six spots in the individual competition, and now sits atop the leaderboard with a two-round total of 74-70=144(E). Konradsson was one of just five players to break par on the Goose Pond Colony Golf Course, and one of just three players to record the low-round of 70, out of the 92 individual competitors. With 18 holes left tomorrow, Konradsson looks to become just the second individual competition winner for Head Coach Aaron Feyes in his ten-year tenure at Andrew College. Ironically, former Andrew College NJCAA All-American Andreas Tancred won this same tournament in 2015, for Feyes' other winner.

The Tigers remained in 10th place in the team standings, shooting 70-75-79-80=304 today, for a two-day total of 314-304=618(+42). The 304 team score matches the Tigers low-round of the season, that coming in their last tournament, also the second round, of the Titan Winter Invitational in early February.

Tyler Erwin is T35th, after two rounds, carding a 74-80=154(+10), Logan Bracey rallied today with a 75(+3) for a two-day total of 82-75=177(+13) and sits T52nd, and Jacob Brantefelt shot 79(+7) today, and his two-day total of 85-79=164(+20), puts him T68th in the individual competition.

The Tigers tee off tomorrow at 7:30 am for the final 18 holes.
