Tigers Travel to South Carolina For NJCAA District J Championships
CUTHBERT, Ga. -- The Tigers will tee off in the 2017 NJCAA District J Golf Tournament on Monday in Gramling, S.Car., for a chance at a berth in the 2017 NJCAA Div. II National Golf Championships to be held in Mesa, Ariz., on May 23-26. The 6,300 yard course plays to a par 72, and sits in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The practice round will be Sunday, then 18 holes on Monday and 18 on Tuesday.
The Tigers will send out Erik Sundstrom, Jacob Whann, Anthony Whobrey, Brett Ammons, and Tyler Erwin.
The top two teams will advance to the National Tournament, as well as the top two individual scorers. If either or both of the top two are members of an advancing team, then, next highest individual(s) from a non-advancing team will advance.
