Tigers Open Spring Seaon at Titan Invitational
MELBOURNE, Fla. -- The Tigers kicked off their spring schedule at the 2017 Titan Winter Invitational at the Suntree Country Club in Melbourne, FL today, with a pair of team scores of 315, over the 6,953 yard, par 72 course, third amongst the junior colleges participating in the tournament, 13 shots ahead of the fellow GCAA competitor, Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College(ABAC).
Brett Ammons led the way today, shooting 76-76=152 and sits T29th in the individual standings. Erik Sundstrom vaulted 13 spots in round 2, carding an 81-77=158 and is T49th. Jacob Whann is T60th after a 78-82=160, Markus Svahn signed for an 82-80=162, T65th, and Joey Hendrix finished with an 80-88=168 to round out the Tiger scoring.
The Tigers wil play 18 holes tomorrow to finish out the tournament.
