Basketball Wins Thriller!

The Andrew College Men's Basketball won a thriller on Saturday afternoon in a showdown with Southern Crescent Technical College.  SCTC was coming off of an upset win vs South Georgia State College which are in first place going into Saturday's conference games.  In the first half the two teams traded baskets back and forth with SCTC holding a 37-33 lead.  The Tiger came out in the second half and started to build a lead with buckets by Grant Hickey and Isaiah Lloyd the Tigers held a small lead going into the final five minutes of the game.  A couple of quick baskets allowed SCTC to draw the game even at 72 with 6 seconds left.  Isaiah Lloyd then hit the biggest bucket of the season with a 12 foot jumper finding the bottom of the net and giving the Tigers a 74-72 conference win.   The Tigers were led by Lloyd's 23 points followed by Ji Webb's 17 points and 13 rebounds.  Hickey added 12 and Kordes Swain added 11 points as well.  The Tigers will head to Albany on Wednesday night in another important conference game.
