Men's Basketball Wallops ASA 99-72; Five Score in Double Figures; Bethea Records 4th Double-Double

CUTHBERT, Ga. -- After a two week break from competition, the Andrew College Men's Basketball team showed no signs of rust, blowing out the Action Sports Academy 99-72 in the Jinks Gymnasium on Saturday. The Tigers flexed their defensive muscles in forcing a staggering 29 turnovers, shot 53% from both the field and three-point land, and made 20 of 28 free throws to roll to their 3rd win on the young season. 

Demarco Bethea put up a team-high 16 points and pulled down 10 boards for his fourth double-double of the season, Akiem Nickerson added 16 points and a game-high 7 steals and 5 assists, Ricky Clark poured in 15 points with 3 steals, Sebian Tate scored 13 points with 7 rebounds and 4 assists, and Samuel McCloud kicked in 13 points off the bench, as Andrew had ten players score in the afternoon affair.

The Tigers are back on the road next Tuesday, traveling to Enterprise State CC in Enterprise, AL, looking to avenge a 78-73 loss to the Boll Weevils earlier in the season.
