Tigers Knock Off Albany Tech 79-78 in Double Overtime

ALBANY, Ga. -- The Andrew College men's basketball team picked up a huge Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association (GCAA) road win on Wednesday night, taking down Albany Tech 79-78 in double overtime. The Tigers rallied from an 11-point halftime deficit to force overtime, then won it on Vince Graves's only point of the night, a free throw with .04 seconds left in the second overtime, to provide the Tigers with their 2nd GCAA win and 9th win overall.

Richard Rivers led four Tigers in double figures, posting his 9th double-double of the year, pouring in 20 points while pulling down a game-high 13 rebounds, Tyshun Briscoe added 17 points and a game-high 5 assists, Kobe Cato chipped in with 14 points and 4 boards, and Sabian Tate came off the bench to notch his second double-double of the season, scoring 13 points and pulling down 11 rebounds. 

Andrew is back in the Jinks Gymnasium on Saturday afternoon, with a 3:00 pm matchup against Central Ga Tech.
