Tigers Roll Over Gordon State 80-68; Cabarrus Erupts For 31 Points

BARNESVILLE, Ga. -- The Andrew College men's basketball team rallied from 3 points down at the half, to outscore Gordon State 41-26 in the second half to cruise ton an 80-68 win in Barnesville, GA on Saturday afternoon. Sophomore guard Cameron Cabarrus poured in a career-high 31 points, as the Tigers shot a blistering 53% from the field, including 9-14 (64%) from behind the arc.

Cabarrus was 10 for 16 from the field, knocking down 7 of 9 from 3 point land, 4 of 6 from the free throw line, and pulled down a team-high 5 rebounds to pace the Tiger attack. Johntovious Chester pumped in 22 points on a perfect shooting night, going 9 for 9 from the field, including a pair of 3 pointers, 2 for 2 from the charity stripe, and also pulled down a team-high 5 boards. Jonathan Bishop dropped in 15 points and dished out 3 assists, to round out the Tigers in double figures.
