Men's Basketball Rolls Over Franklin Prep 82-50; Glover Goes For 20 pts.

CUTHBERT, Ga. -- The Andrew College men's basketball team cruised to their 2nd win of the young season, pummeling Franklin Prep 82-50 in the Jinks Gymnasium on Tuesday night, behind a 20 point outburst from sophomore forward Jermaine Glover. The Tigers run their record to 2-1, and will begin Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association (GCAA) play on Saturday.

Glover shot 6 of 9 from the field and 8 of 10 from the charity stripe and pulled down 6 boards to lead a balanced attack. Cameron Cabarrus added 11 points and 3 assists, Miguel Shaw came off the bench to score 11 points and pulled down 7 rebounds, Brandon Deravine chipped in 10 points and 6 boards, and Tavion Golden finished the night with 10 points to round out the Tigers in double figures.

The Tigers travel to Americus, GA on Saturday to take on South Georgia Tech in their GCAA opener. Tip off is 4:00 pm.
