Men's Basketball Pick Up Post Season Honors

CUTHBERT, Ga. -- Following a second straight 20 win season, the Andrew College men's basketball team picked up some post season hardware, placing Keith Littles on the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association (GCAA) Region 17 1st Team All-Region Team, Tez Collins on the 2nd Team All-Region Team, and Jordan Booker was named the GCAA Region 17 Defensive Player of the Year, as well as a member of the GCAA All-Defensive Team. 

Littles, a sophomore guard from Augusta, GA and Butler High School, finished 5th in Region 17 in scoring, averaging 15.0 points per game. He shot 49.5% from the field and 48.6% from beyond the 3 pt. line, knocking down 71-142, 3 pt. attempts. He posted a career-high 41 points against Central Georgia Tech on February 26, for which he was named the GCAA Week 16 Player of the Week. He scored in double figures in 21 of the 28 games he appeared in, while starting 24 of them. He also posted a 31 point effort against South Georgia State on January 11, and pumped in 25 points against East Georgia State on February 22.

Collins, a sophomore guard from Augusta, GA and North Augusta High School, settled into the valuable 6th-man role for the Tigers. He finished 9th in Region 17 scoring, averaging 12.5 points per game, shooting 50.6% from the field, 42.9% from beyond the 3 pt. line, and averaged 4.6 rebounds per game. He posted a season-high 27 points against East Georgia State on January 22, and also had a 23 point effort against Southern Crescent Tech on Jan. 29. He scored in double figures in 21 of the 27 games he played.

Booker, a sophomore guard from Powder Springs, GA and Harrison High School, led both the GCAA and National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCCA) in both total steals with 158 and steals per game with 5.3 per game. He posted the first and only quadruple-double in Andrew College history on December 13 against Combine Academy, putting up 10 points, pulling down 10 rebounds, dishing out 10 assists, and swiping 10 steals, resulting in him being named the GCAA Week 7 Player of the Week. He had nine games of double-digit assists, including a career-high 15 assists against East Georgia State on January 22.
