Collins Leads Tigers With 20 Points; Williamson Big At The End

CUTHBERT, Ga. -- Tez Collins kept the Tigers in the game, pouring in a game-high 20 points, and Tim Williamson put Andrew ahead for good, with a slashing layup at the 11 second mark, then canned a pair of free throws with 3 seconds left to finish the scoring in the Tigers 77-73 win over South Ga. Technical College at the Jinks Gymnasium on Wednesday night.  Collins was 7 for 10 from the field, including 4 of 6 from 3 point land, while also pulling down 5 rebounds. 

Keith Littles added 14 points, 4 boards, 4 assists, and a pair of steals, Williamson had 13 points, along with a pair of assists and steals, Taylor "TJ" Mitchell chipped in 11 points and 5 rebounds, and Jordan Booker had a game-high 11 assists and 4 steals to round out the Tigers in double figures.

Booker currently leads all of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) in total steals for the season with 81 steals, and is 2nd in the nation, averaging 5.5 steals per game.

The Tigers continue Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association (GCAA) play on Saturday, taking on South Ga. State in Jinks Gymnasium. Tip off is 3:00.
