Tigers Dispense With Spartanburg Methodist 76-68; Mitchell With Double-Double

SPARTANBURG, S.Car. -- Following a six hour bus ride, the Tigers roared out to a ten point halftime lead and cruised past Spartanburg Methodist College 76-68 on Thursday night to run their record to 8-2 on the season. Taylor "TJ" Mitchell led the scoring, posting his 2nd double-double of the year, pumping in 16 points, and pulling down a game-high 10 rebounds.

Tim Williamson and Tez Collins each chipped in with 14 points, with Williamson adding 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals, and Collins adding 7 rebounds and 6 assists, Keith Littles scored 12 points, and Jordan Booker had 8 points, as well as a game-high 7 assists, and 5 steals.

The Tigers take a week off for finals, then travel to Waycross, GA for a pair of games, Friday against Combine Academy, and Saturday versus Taylor Made Academy.
