CUTHBERT, Ga. -- The Andrew College men's basketball team kicked off their defense of the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association (GCAA) Regular Season Championship with a 88-85 win over the New Rock Prep Academy in the Jinks Gymnasium on Saturday afternoon. Sophomore Tim Williamson paced the Tiger attack, pouring in 37 points, by knocking down 13 of 18 shots from the field, including 4 of 4 from 3 pt land and 7 for 7 from the free throw line, as well as dealing out a game-high 5 assists and pulling down 3 rebounds.
Jordan Booker and Johntovious Chester each chipped in 18 points, with Booker adding 5 boards and 3 assist, and Chester pulling down 6 rebounds, and Jaylon "JT" Terrell chipped in with 10 points to round out the Tigers in double figures.
The Tigers are back in the Jinks Gymnasium on Tuesday to take on Florida Gateway College. Tip off is at 6:00 pm.
