AMERICUS, Ga. -- The Andrew College men's basketball team continued their blistering pace, throttling South Ga. Tech in the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association (GCAA) season opener 86-71, extending their winning streak to six games, and running their overall record to 12-2 and GCAA record to 1-0. Sophomore Kristian Collins erupted for 20 points and pulled down 10 rebounds to pace the Tigers, his second double-double in a row, and third on the season.
Sophomore Dereck Lampkin continued his strong play, posting his team leading fifth double-double, pumping in 17 points while pulling down 10 boards, Jalin Wimberly added 17 points, Moses Jones came off the bench to score 11 points with 4 assists, and Tim Williamson posted a game-high 5 assists and chipped in 4 points.
The Tigers continue their GCAA play on Wednesday, traveling to South Ga. State College in Waycross, tip off is at 7:00 pm.
