CUTHBERT, Ga. -- The Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association (GCAA) announced it's Players of the Week today, and Andrew College's Alex Blount took home the GCAA Baseball Week 14 Pitcher of the Week.
Blount, a redshirt freshman from Thomaston, GA and Upson-Lee High School tossed a complete game on the road against first-place Georgia Highlands College on April 26, scattering 7 hits and 2 runs over nine innings, while fanning 9 batters in the 5-2 Andrew College win.
