2020 Baseball Schedule Released

Cuthbert, Ga. – The Andrew College baseball program and Head Coach Blake Williams have officially announced the Tigers schedule for the upcoming 2020 baseball season. The schedule includes a regular season slate of fifty-six games, with twenty-five of them being in the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association (GCAA), in a quest to be in the top four to make it to the post season tournament. The Tigers will open up the season with eleven of their first fourteen games being on their home field at the beautiful Hord Athletic Complex.

They will kick the season off at home on January 31st in a three game weekend series versus Southwest Tennessee Community College. The following weekend the team makes their annual trip to Gulf Coast State College for the Kevin Miller Tournament against a tough slate of teams. Head coach Blake Williams stated, "We feel as a coaching staff the quality of competition in the non-conference, both at home and on the road, will prepare us for the tough GCAA schedule. Along with playing games in Georgia we will be traveling over to Alabama and down to Florida several times for some great games. We are all looking forward to a great season with our schedule and seeing our guys compete at a high level."

The GCAA conference schedule will begin on March 17th at Georgia Highlands College to open up a four game series with them. The final twenty-five games of the season will all be in conference play with the Tigers pushing for a coveted spot in the conference tournament which begins on May 4th and is hosted by Kennesaw State University. The Tigers look forward to seeing everyone out at Hord Athletic Complex to support your 2020 Fighting Tigers baseball team.
