Andrew College Baseball Team Ranked in Preseason Poll

CUTHBERT, Ga  --  The Andrew College Fighting Tigers baseball team is finding themselves in the news weeks before the fast approaching 2019 spring season.  The Fighting Tigers have caught the attention of national sports writers who have tabbed the Tigers at the 50th best NJCAA Division 1 baseball team in the country in advance of the upcoming college baseball season.

The list was compiled by the Collegiate Baseball Scouting Network and more specifically their National Junior College Baseball Director Noah Sharp. Sharp has been responsible for some tremendous content covering Juco baseball over the years and has earned a reputation as one of the foremost experts covering all levels of NJCAA Baseball.

The #50 National Rankings puts the Tigers in some excellent company regionally. The Tigers find themselves as one of two teams ranked from the state of Georgia. The other team ranked from Georgia is last years NJCAA Region 17 Champions Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College (ABAC), who came in ranked at #39.  Teams ranked from bordering states include 6 teams from the state of Florida, 3 from Tennessee, 2 from South Carolina, and 1 from Alabama. Georgia plus the 4 bordering states are comprised of 64 baseball teams.
