Tigers Ease Past Southern Union State 7-4
WADLEY, Ala. -- The Tigers jumped out to a 6-0 lead after 4 innings and cruised to a 7-4 win over Southern Union State, as both Jordan Holt and Mike Branche had a pair of hits and scored a run, Jalin Thomas went 2 for 3 and scored twice, Collin Chambers hit a solo homerun and scored twice, and Dahlton Cash had a 2-RBI single to lead the attack.
Brandon Brown (1-1) picked up the win, tossing 6 innings, striking out 3, and allowing just 2 runs on 4 hits. Hunter Norman pitched 3 innings, also striking out 3, to close out the game.
