EMERSON, Ga. -- Deion Sellers led a 15-hit, 12-run attack, going 3 for 5 with two doubles and 3 RBI, Mike Warren went 2 for 5 with a double and 3 RBI, Chris Schwartzer doubled and drove in 3 runs, and Jack Bell, Michael Branche, Anthony Young, and Blake Rupp had a pair of hits each, but the Highlanders hit a 3-run, walk-off homer in the bottom of the 9th inning to spoil the offensive effort of the visitors from Andrew.
The Tigers put up 7 runs to take an 8-4 lead going into the bottom of the 3rd inning, and scratched back to tie the game in the top of the 9th inning, before the game ending homer.
The Tigers will be back at the Hord Athletic Complex on Friday and Saturday against the Highlanders, with a single game on Friday at 3:00 pm, and a doubleheader on Saturday at 1:00 pm.
