Zac Cole to Lead All Star Team

Cuthbert, GA – Current Head Assistant Baseball Coach Zac Cole, and former Assistant Baseball Coach Brock Moss will lead a pair of All-Star teams against one another in the 2019 Valley Baseball League (VBL) All Star Game, being held on July 7th at James Madison University's Veteran Memorial Park in Harrisonburg, VA. The Valley League All Star game for the first time ever will be live broadcasted on ESPNU with the pre-game show starting at 7:00 pm and the All-Star Game starting at 7:30 pm. Both Cole and Moss are mangers in the VBL, with Cole heading up the Waynesboro Generals in the South Division and Moss leading the Strasburg Express in the North Division. Both teams lead their respective divisions with Express posting an 18-6 record and the Generals an 18-8 mark. As leaders of their divisions, both were named to the manager slot of their division All-Star teams.

Cole just finished his second season in Cuthbert, but this is his fourth year managing in the VBL. For the past three seasons he was the manager of the New Market Rebels, and led the 2018 Rebs to the Valley Baseball League Title. Cole took over Waynesboro this season, a team he played for back in 2004.

In Cole's two season with the Andrew College baseball program he has helped the team's pitching staff tremendously grow and move forward. Head Coach Blake Williams stated, "Zac Cole is a very valuable coach to our program as he understands all facets of the game with head coaching experience and the ability to manage and lead. I'm very excited and proud of Zac as this is a big honor for him and I will be tuning in to see him lead his All-Star team on ESPNU."

Moss coached one season at Andrew and is now the Head Assistant Coach at fellow Georgia Athletic Association (GCAA) member Georgia Highlands College.
